Solar Panel Meshing

19 gauge galvanised mesh creates a barrier under the solar panels.  The mesh is attached to the panels with specially designed UV stable polycarbonate clips which do not cause any damage to the panels, nor effects their warranty.  The clips are designed to fit on the inside lip of the panel without scratching the surface.

Solar Panel Spiking

Stainless steel spiking is another alternative which creates a barrier under the panels.  There are different designs of solar panel spiking on the market which can either be clipped to the panels or stuck to the roof tiles with a silicone based adhesive.

Before installing a solar bird deterrent, Birdteq will clean the fouled roof areas and guttering using a biocide spray to decontaminate the site.
