Here at Birdteq we are specialists in providing bird proofing for historical buildings. We understand that you want to keep your historical building in the best possible condition and having bird proofing equipment massively helps with this. We work with a number of high profile clients ranging from The National Trust to Diocese’s. Each of these clients required a more complex bird netting system which had to be built in line with the strict criteria provided by the planning authorities.

So, whether your project is big or small you can trust that Birdteq will provide you with quality work meeting the specific criteria provided by you or the planning authorities. And if your project is big, we have found unique ways to overcome planning restrictions on the height of the nets, but still install them with total access for maintenance personnel. We have worked with The Royal Albert Memorial Museum and The National Trusts Avebury Museum providing them with large scale nets which perfectly suited their needs and met all their criteria. Here at Birdteq we work with listed historical buildings and also churches, so no matter what type of building you have we will be sure to help you.

On every project that we take on here at Birdteq we work with our clients to bring new and innovative solutions to make sure that we can tackle any challenge that we’re faced with. An example of a challenge we’re frequently faced with when working with historical buildings would be the re-designing net installations. A lot of clients with delicate roofs need to have the netting fitted without traditional fixings, and using specially designed fabricated brackets instead. Our case study below gives you an insight into these special fittings.

All of our staff here at Birdteq are CSCS card holders and have been access trained with IPAF and PASMA, meaning we are highly trained in all areas of bird proofing. Our staff are also regularly trained in asbestos awareness, hand and power tool usage, working at heights and health and safety. Here at Birdteq we’ve also been accredited with CHAS and trade accredited with The National Pest Technicians Association. So, you can be confident that the team here at Birdteq will do a great job on bird proofing your building.
