At Birdteq we have been working with bird scaring devices of vatious types, designs and functions for a long time. When it comes to most bird scarers the truth is that they sometimes only work as a short term solution. Birds quickly become used to load noises, scarecrows or reflective surface adhesives. After a period of initial success, birds can become accustomed to these.

Agrilaser Autonomic

When it comes to a sustained bird scaring solution, we install agrilaser laser bird scarers.

Agrilaser® is a laser device which is designed solely to dispel flocking birds. It is ideal for repelling Pigeons, Starlings, Seagulls, Crows, house Sparrows, Rooks, Canada geese and many other pest bird species.

The Agrilaser’s range makes it an ideal bird scaring device for use in repelling birds from arable farmland, airfields, sports grounds, lakes and fisheries, landfill sites, golf courses, playing fields, car parks, docks and large roofs.

Due to advanced patented optical technology a laser beam is emitted which is optimized for bird repelling over a long distance.Birds perceive the green laser beam as a physical danger which is coming towards them. The only alternative to avoid being hit is flying away.

This is the same reflex when birds fly away when a car approaches. Laser bird scarers appeal to the survival instinct of the bird.

Unlike conventional methods of deterrence birds will not get used to the laser beam of the Agrilaser® and will always be repelled. After systematic use, the birds will consider the field on which the Agrilaser® Autonomic is used as unsafe and will not return.

Agrilaser® uses green laser technology with a reach of more than 2,000 meters.

Unlike conventional methods of deterrence bird scarers, birds will not get used to the constantly moving laser beam of the Agrilaser®.

The Agrilaser® is most effective during sunrise and sunset and in overcast, rainy or foggy weather conditions. Its effectiveness can be reduced in bright sunny conditions.

The Agrilaser® is best used to disrupt roosting birds at dawn, dusk and during nightfall.

In purchasing this product you authorise Birdteq to enter your company’s details onto our user database, along with the product’s serial number to ensure trackable and safe operation of the device. You will also provide a guarantee that you undertake to use the product in strict accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, specifically:

Do not point the device upwards, only point it at the ground
Do not point the device at aircraft
Do not use outdoors within 3km of an airfield without prior authorisation from the Civil Aviation Authority or your local aviation governing body.
Do not point device at reflective surfaces.
Do not point the device at vehicles.
Do not point the device at buildings, especially windows and doors.
Do not point the device at persons or non-target animals, especially avoiding the eyes.
Do not use the device for any other purpose other than for repelling birds.

To only use the device for repelling birds in accordance with applicable local wildlife control legislation

That system can protect up to 12 km² and is suitable for repelling most species of birds. Very fast and long lasting results and at the same time easy to use in any location. Supplied as multiple power options: Mains, Battery or Solar with 16-zone timed programming enables 24-hour protection of multiple areas. At the same time is environmentally friendly and harmless to birds.

Birdteq will initially install the system and carry out a maintenance programme for an initial period of time, after which, the client will be trained how to maintain the Agrilaser.

Solar power accessory available for Agrilaser® Autonomic

The standard Autonomic package comes with a switch mode power supply that enables Autonomic to be operated via a mains AC power supply of between 100volts and 240 volts, simply plug into the mains and you are under way.

However, to enable operation of the automated bird repelling system Agrilaser® Autonomic when AC power is not available, it can be equipped with an optional 12V DC power & solar charging system. The solar panel can be attached to the frame of the Agrilaser® Autonomic. For the battery and charge regulator there is room inside the frame.

This Agrilaser is only for professional use and is 3B laser product. It is easy to use and with range up to 2500 metres. As before immediate, long lasting results and animal and environmentally friendly. It has rugged design with red dot sight (To make operation over long distances more accurate and safe. The sight makes it possible to accurately aim the Agrilaser Handheld at a desired target before activating the laser). Also include key lock security system (To prevent unauthorized use of the equipment) with aluminium carry case.

Handheld 200 and 500

The Agrilaser Handheld comes in three models with different laser output power: Agrilaser Handheld, Handheld 200 and 500. Choosing the right model is essential to generate a laser projection with sufficient contrast for effective bird dispersal.

Light conditions: A higher laser output power is recommended for use during bright light conditions.

Distance and beam angle: A higher laser output power balances out the loss of contrast due to spreading of the laser beam over a larger surface area.

Local environmental conditions: A higher laser output power is recommended for use in an environment with light absorbing surfaces.
